The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea!
Thank you for visiting this website. Our branch covers Chipping Sodbury, Yate and surroundings areas.
Chipping Sodbury RNLI was formed on March 6th 1969 and celebrated its 50th year anniversary in 2019 with a gala dinner at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall. We organise a range of events throughout the year including a summer function, wine tasting, various supermarket collections, first taste of Christmas lunch and more.
This helps to bring home to people that the RNLI has relevance locally, as well as nationally. As a branch our aim is to increase our contributions to the RNLI by identifying more fundraising opportunities etc.
We have a dedicated committee who, together with a small group of supporters take part in a variety of events to raise funds and promote the work of the RNLI in general. We are always seeking new members and supporters and it is a sure way of increasing our fundraising income.
